Help Carlos Ostolaza Publish!

Carlos Ostolaza is likely the most influential author on Peruvian cactus. He’s written more than four books and dozens of articles on cactus, and has been involved in determining more than 50 cactus names!

I’ve just recorded an interview with Carlos for The Mescaline Garden podcast. Carlos told me he has two entirely completed books, ready for press. Sadly, it is beyond Carlos’ means to fund the printing.

Below Carlos has shared some details around these books, and a proposed deal for potential funders. Carlos is willing to share additional material from the book with people interested in assisting with publishing. If you think you can help, please get in touch.

Carlos is 86 years old and it would be a beautiful thing if we could help Carlos see these books in print in his lifetime. If you want an English translation, I would be more than willing to contribute to the project 🌵💚
